From Monday the 22nd of February, COVID-19 vaccinations began a staged-roll out in Australia.
The vaccine will reduce our community’s risk of COVID-19 outbreaks and help reduce the symptoms and side-effects of the virus.
Meals on Wheels volunteers will be advised of vaccination timing and procedures when we are notified by the health authorities.
It is important to know the COVID-19 vaccine is free of charge for every Australian. Therefore, if you receive any phone calls or emails requesting credit card details in exchange for the vaccine, please do not pass on these details.
